How Mosaic collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the platform.
Wardro LLC operates the Mosaic platform (“Mosaic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you when you use Mosaic.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- Your email address or phone number
- Authentication and account information
- Any optional profile information you choose to provide
Content You Create or Upload
We may collect and store content you provide through Mosaic, including:
- Prompts and instructions
- Reference images and photos
- Designs and generated images
- Edits, remixes, and related design information
- Product selections and other information associated with your creations
Order and Shipping Information
When you place an order, we may collect:
- Recipient name
- Shipping address
- Products ordered
- Design files associated with the order
- Order history
- Transaction, refund, and fulfillment information
Payment Information
Payments are processed through Stripe.
Stripe may collect payment information such as your card number, billing address, and other information necessary to process your payment.
Mosaic does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Mosaic may receive limited payment and transaction information from Stripe, such as payment status, amount paid, transaction identifiers, refunds, and limited billing or payment-method information.
Usage and Device Information
When you use Mosaic, we may automatically collect information such as:
- IP address
- Device and browser information
- Pages and features you use
- Interactions with the Platform
- Session and activity information
- Referral information
- Log and diagnostic information
- Cookie and similar technology data
We use PostHog and our own internal analytics tools to help understand how Mosaic is used.
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create and manage accounts
- Authenticate users
- Generate, edit, store, and display designs
- Provide AI-powered features
- Create product previews
- Process purchases
- Manufacture, fulfill, and ship orders through third-party providers
- Provide receipts, order confirmations, shipping updates, and other transactional communications
- Provide customer support
- Operate and improve Mosaic
- Understand product usage, engagement, and conversion
- Develop and test new features
- Detect fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms
- Investigate intellectual-property complaints and other disputes
- Comply with legal obligations
- Send product updates, offers, and other marketing communications where permitted by law
Artificial Intelligence
Mosaic uses OpenAI services to provide AI-powered features.
Depending on the feature you use, Mosaic may send OpenAI information such as:
- Prompts and instructions
- Reference images
- Existing designs
- Product or design information
- Related context needed to generate or edit content
This information is provided to OpenAI so that OpenAI can process the request and return the requested output.
Mosaic does not sell this information to OpenAI.
Mosaic does not use your prompts, reference images, designs, or AI outputs to train or fine-tune Mosaic-owned AI models unless we tell you otherwise and obtain any consent required by law.
OpenAI's handling of information is also subject to its own applicable terms, policies, and data controls.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, unexpected, non-unique, or similar to content that already exists. Mosaic does not guarantee that AI-generated content is original or free of third-party rights.
How We Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We also do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose information to companies that help us operate Mosaic, including:
Payment Providers
Stripe processes payments and related transaction information.
AI Providers
OpenAI processes information necessary to provide Mosaic's AI functionality.
Manufacturing, Fulfillment, and Shipping Providers
When you place an order, we may provide third-party manufacturing, fulfillment, and shipping providers with information necessary to produce and deliver your order, including:
- Recipient name
- Shipping address
- Product information
- Design or print files
- Fulfillment instructions
Analytics and Infrastructure Providers
We may provide information to analytics, hosting, cloud infrastructure, security, communications, and other service providers that help operate Mosaic.
Legal and Safety Purposes
We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, subpoenas, court orders, or valid legal process
- Respond to lawful government requests
- Investigate fraud, abuse, intellectual-property complaints, or violations of our Terms
- Protect Mosaic, our users, or others
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Mosaic does not provide a user's personal information to a rights holder simply because the rights holder asks for it. Information may be disclosed where required or otherwise permitted by law.
Business Transactions
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction involving Wardro LLC.
Private and Public Designs
Designs are private by default unless you choose to publish them.
Private Designs
Private designs are not displayed in Mosaic's public marketplace.
Mosaic may still process or access private designs as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide AI functionality
- Store and display your work to you
- Create previews
- Produce and fulfill orders
- Provide support
- Enforce our Terms
- Investigate fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
Public Designs
If you choose to publish a design, it becomes available to other Mosaic users.
Other users may be able to:
- View the design
- Remix or modify it
- Create derivative versions
- Create and purchase physical products based on those remixes
Mosaic may maintain attribution or other technical links connecting remixes to the original design.
Public designs may also be reviewed, moderated, removed, restricted, or otherwise acted upon by Mosaic under our Terms of Service.
Because public content is visible to others, you should not publish information or images that you want to remain private.
Account Deletion and Designs
You may request deletion of your Mosaic account.
Deleting your account does not automatically delete designs you created.
Designs associated with a deleted account may remain on Mosaic but become unassigned or otherwise no longer associated with your active user account.
Existing remixes, design relationships, transaction records, and other Platform history may also remain.
Mosaic may retain information after account deletion when reasonably necessary for purposes including:
- Completed orders
- Accounting and tax obligations
- Fraud and abuse prevention
- Intellectual-property complaints
- Chargebacks and payment disputes
- Legal claims
- Enforcement of our Terms
- Compliance with applicable law
Where applicable law requires deletion of particular personal information, we will honor those requirements.
Email and Text Communications
Mosaic may use your email address or phone number for communications related to:
- Account access and authentication
- Security
- Orders and receipts
- Production and shipping updates
- Customer support
- Important Platform or policy notices
- Product and feature updates
- Marketing and promotional messages
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option included in those communications.
Marketing or promotional text messages will be sent only where Mosaic has the consent or other legal authorization required to send them.
Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent Mosaic from sending necessary transactional, security, account, or order-related communications.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
The amount of time information is retained may depend on factors such as:
- Whether your account remains active
- Whether information relates to an order or transaction
- Legal, tax, or accounting requirements
- Fraud or security concerns
- Intellectual-property complaints
- Disputes or potential legal claims
- Backup and system-management requirements
We may retain certain records after an account has been deleted when reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request:

Security
Mosaic uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.
However, no online service, database, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should notify Mosaic if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Children's Privacy
Mosaic is not intended for children under 13.
You must be at least 13 years old to create and use a Mosaic account.
If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Mosaic.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in violation of applicable law, we may delete the account and associated personal information.
A parent or guardian may use Mosaic on behalf of a younger child.
International Users
Wardro LLC is based in the United States.
If you access Mosaic from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
Those locations may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Mosaic changes.
When we make updates, we may revise the “Last Updated” date above.
If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law.
